The Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park offers a variety of meeting spaces in the heart of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. These spaces are the perfect setting for a range of events including executive board meetings, corporate retreats and extended overnight workshops. Choose from several Extraordinary Spaces that can accommodate from 10 to 250 people as well as unique overnight facilities. Our spaces are centrally located between Akron and Cleveland and offer a relaxing setting, enhanced by the natural beauty of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Guest Services – Our professional staff will help guide you in the planning process to ensure your event is successful – from booking the perfect facility to recommendations on preferred caterers, AV equipment and room set-up. On the day of your event, a Conservancy representative will greet you, ensure your facility is ready for you to welcome your guests, and will be available to you throughout the day to answer facility or park related questions.

Book a “greener” meeting in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Support your organization’s commitment to community and environmental responsibility.  Plan your next event in one of Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Extraordinary Spaces.  Rent a facility that has historical and cultural value.

Choose a facility appropriate for your particular event. The following fees apply to weekday meetings between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.   Fees are $200.00 for Stone Cottage (accommodates 12), $300.00 for Hines Hill Conference Center (accommodates 30 conference-style), and $425.00 for Happy Days Lodge (accommodates 300 theatre-style or 180 seated).

  • Encourage your meeting attendees to carpool to the meeting space, we will provide directions from surrounding areas.
  • Use less paper. A dry erase board and markers are provided at all locations.
  • Have a delicious fresh meal using local, seasonal, and minimally processed ingredients.  See the Spice of Life catering company’s seasonal, local menu.
  • Serve on china, encourage attendees to bring service ware from home or, if you must use disposables, choose recyclables and we will recycle for you.
  • Provide a compost bucket and challenge your attendees to come to the meeting understanding the difference between landfill and compost.
  • Bottled water creates more waste. Let our host offer your meeting guests water served in pitchers. 
  • Offer your attendees an afternoon stroll, hike or bike ride outside in the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  Plan your own activity or ask us about the availability of a staff-led hike.
